PRIVACY POLICY
Your data should work for you.
This policy explains how Beyond Solid LLC (“Leafy,” “we,” or “us”) handles information when you use the Leafy iOS app.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide, including account identifiers; body, goal, activity, and preference information; food, meal, nutrient, and weight records; check-ins and plan revisions; photos you submit for meal estimation; optional country or region information; and support communications.
Leafy does not currently collect HealthKit data, precise location, advertising identifiers, contacts, or payment information, and does not use third-party advertising trackers.
How we use information
- Provide accounts, personalized targets, food logging, weight tracking, insights, reminders, and support.
- Process meal descriptions and optional photos to estimate nutrition.
- Protect Leafy, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
- Use eligible coded records for research or commercial analysis only under a separate, active opt-in.
Optional nutrition data program
Joining is optional and is not required to use Leafy or receive personalized targets. Eligible records may be included in coded, access-controlled datasets for lawful research or commercial analysis. Direct account identifiers, original food photos, and connected-health records are excluded. You can leave in Settings at any time.
Sharing and service providers
Supabase provides authentication, database, storage, and server infrastructure. OpenAI may process meal descriptions, optional photos, and nutrition questions to provide AI features. Apple processes app distribution, crash reports, and feedback under Apple’s terms. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect safety and rights, or in a corporate transaction with appropriate safeguards.
Storage, security, and retention
Leafy uses encrypted network connections, account-scoped authorization, row-level database controls, and private storage. We retain active-account information as needed to provide Leafy. Account deletion requests removal of the account and associated plans, logs, weights, contribution records, and private media, subject to narrow legal or security obligations.
Your choices
You can edit records, change notifications, leave the nutrition data program, or delete your account in the app. For access, correction, or deletion help, email support@projectleafy.app.
Children and medical use
Leafy is intended for adults age 18 and older. It provides general wellness estimates and is not a medical device or a substitute for a clinician.
Changes and contact
